TVS Launches New Star City+ Priced At Rs. 44,000 & Claims To Deliver 86 Kmpl





TVS Motor India has launched Star City+ an updated version of the Star City. The Kick-Star  version is priced at Rs. 41,809 whereas the version Electric-Start version is priced at Rs. 44,000, all prices Ex-Showroom Mumbai.









Style

The Star City+ is available in 3 refreshing colours namely Oscar Black, Show-Stopper Blue and Celebrity Red. The City+ comes with all black alloy wheels and black colour coated engine which adds to the overall style of this bike. The bike comes with a stylish and bigger grab handle for the pillion rider and bigger comfortable dual-tone seat. The exhaust gets a stylish Ecothrust logo embossed on a chrome finish exhaust cover.








Performance

The Star City+ is powered by a 109.7cc Advanced Ecothrust engine with a Molycoat Piston which gives reduced friction and better combustion and claims to deliver a stunning 86 kmpl mileage. The 110cc engine produces 8.4 PS of power at  7000rpm and 8.7 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. The engine comes with a 53.5mm x 48.8mm bore-stroke configuration with 9.2:1 compression ratio. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox via a wet multi-plate clutch. The bike weighs 105Kg for the kick-start version and adds 4kgs more for the electric-start versions which weighs 106Kg








Features


The Star City+ gets a Digital-Analog Multi-Function Console which comprises of a digital fuel indicator and odo-trip meter along with an analog speedometer. It also has LED indicators for Service Reminder and Economy/Power mode indicator. It lacks a tachometer to display engine RPM. The bike has a 10litre capacity fuel tank with additional 2litre reserve fuel storage.
