Mercedes-Benz launched the sporty & luxurious CLA-Class today in India at the grand ceremony in New Delhi. Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 CDI Style is priced at Rs 31.5 lakhswhile the CLA 200 Sport and CLA 200 CDI Sport are priced at Rs 35 lakhs and 35.9 lakhs respectively.
The CLA-Class is powered by 4-cyl diesel engine which produces max power of 134bhp@3,600-4,400rpmand max torque of 300Nm@1,600-3000rpmand claims a fuel efficiency of 17.9 kmpl. CLA-Class also has an option of a more powerful 2-litre petrol engine which produces max power of 181bhp@5,500rpm and max torque of 300Nm@1,200-4,000rpm. Both the engines are mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox. Mercedes claims that with the petrol engine the CLA-Class does a 0 to 100kmph in 7.8 secs and tops out at 235 kmph.
