Engine :
Fuel Efficiency: The new E-Class 200 CGI petrol returns 13.8 kmpl, making it best in class; while the torque has been increased by 15 nm. The large 80 litres fuel tank of the E-Class ensures that the E 200 CGI petrol covers 1100 kms and the E 250 CDI diesel covers 1380 kms with a full tank of fuel.
Power & Torque: The new E-Class is unrivalled in this segment with its variety and innovations. The E 250 CDI diesel is equipped with V4 engine with a displacement of 2143 CC which generates best in class torque of 500 Nm @ 1600-1800 rpm and a rated output of 150 Kw @ 4200 rpm. The vehicle attains the speed of 0-100 km/h in a mere 7.5 seconds. The E 200 CGI petrol has a displacement of 1991 CC which generates 300 Nm of torque at 1200-4000 rpm which is best in class again, and helps the vehicle to attain the speed from 0-100 km/h in a mere 7.9 seconds. The rated output for the E-Class 200 CGI is 135 kW @ 5500 rpm.
Price :
The price of the new E 200 CGI (Petrol) is Rs. 41.50 lakh and the price of E 250 CDI Avantgarde (Diesel) is Rs 44.48 lakh. There are also 100 units of limited edition of E 250 CDI priced at Rs 49.90 lakh. All Prices are ex-Showroom Delhi.
Since its introduction in India, Mercedes-Benz have sold more than 23,000 units of the E-Class, which is by far the highest for any single model for Mercedes-Benz sold in the country.
